Easter and 18 Months

We had a wonderful and blessed Easter!! We went to church then to our Aunt K's house for dinner and the Easter Egg Hunt. We had alot of fun :). MJ is now 18months old and time has really flown. Its hard to believe how much he has grown and changed. I relize how blessed I am everyday.

First Hair Cut!!!

Saturday I finally went and had MJ'S hair cut.I cried but I knew it had to be done becaues he would barely let me wash or comb it anymore.I hated to lose his curls because his hair is what he has been known for but he looks great and sat for the lady really well.He acted like such a big boy.I was surpriesd he did so well.He looks very handsome and like a lil man.

Unlucky But Still Hopeful

Why is it that when one thing goes wrong suddenly everything starts going wrong.So here they are all in order from the beginning The wash machine broke, my grant messed up so I might have to pay for my classes,our new microwave broke,and then today I go to lay MJ down for a nap and my door wouldn't open.I tried for over an hour to get it too. Finally a neighbor took the door knob off and helped me get in there.All the baby's diapers and stuff was locked in there.Like I said things go great for awhile and then right after another it seems to be something.One seems just a small thing but all together you feel under attack.And money makes the world go around.I have learnt form these things you need to have money put up for emergencies or its off to the laundry mat for you.Better to be prepared then left with no way to fix things.But through everything my son keeps me smiling and going forward determined no matter what....So here's hoping for some good luck coming our way :)

Christmas Time

This was a wonderful Christmas and its hard to believe it is already over.This year has flown by.It was great fun seeing the Holiday through my sons eyes.We really did it up big this year.We decorated,sang Christmas carols,watched Christmas movies,took our picture with Santa,went and looked at lights,and just really enjoyed this holiday.Christmas eve we stayed home and my brother and his girl friend came over and had dinner and opened gifts with us.My mom had to work all day so me and Little man cooked all day and got the house ready.We had ham,potato salad,greens,corn,broccoli casserole,and rolls.For dessert we had a chocolate pie.It all turned out really well.




Then we woke up Christmas morning and opened gifts.We made sausage biscuits and sat around the tree helping the baby get his toys out.He got alot of great stuff.He got a climber for outside ,trucks.Lego's,a tent,and clothes.He also got a neat lawn mower and baseball game.We then got ready and went to my Aunts and Uncles like we do every year.We had a wonderful steak meal and then played a game together.It was fun to all get together and just spend time together.Having fun and eating great food :).MJ had fun running around there house and showing off :)They got him a neat table that sings and plays music.He like to climb up on it LOL!!! All in All it was a great Christmas I hope every ones was great as well.
