New Play Area

As I said the other day I made MJ a play area in a corner of the living room. We have a little nook that we really don't use so that's where I decided to put it. We don't have carpet in our house so I bought him a car rug and laid down some a sleeping bag under it to give him some cushion if he falls.I put his toys over there and he has been having so much fun being able to play and crawl.He is very active and needs alot of time to burn some energy off lol.I know when he learns to walk I'm going to be chasing him everywhere.I bought the rug from Target.It's so cute and totally fits for a little boy.It's the kind where when there older they can play cars on it.MJ has so much stuff.Its amazing what a little baby can accumulate over such a short amount of time.He is worth it though :)

Happy Memorial Day

MJ's first memorial day.Its been a low key day. I fixed up his play area and so we have been enjoying that. He loves being able to get down.Crawling and playing with his many toys. Nice that the rain has finally stopped.We got to go outside and play in the swing.He loves that swing so much.Thanks again cousins :)Also excited about the Jon and Kate plus eight season premiere tonight.So addicted to that show lol.Theirs been alot of drama lately with them but I still love the show.So here's to summer finally being here:)Goodbye cold weather hello sunshine!!!!!!

Loves To Eat

MJ get SO excited when its time to get in his highchair. He knows what time it is lol.He loves to eat. His favorite baby food is applesauce but he loves carrots alot too. There also this weird concoction he adores its chicken and raspberries.Although I will admit I made a big pot of homemade stew and i gave him some of the carrots and potatoes mashed up and he was so happy lol.

Pulling Up

It's so hard to believe my little baby boy is pulling up and standing all by himself.I'm watching him like crazy!!! One minute there your little baby and suddenly there doing things like sitting and standing up all by themselves.He's my enigezer boy :)He is very independent and gets so mad if you try to help him.I'm a proud mommy lol

Trying To Escape

I believe napping in our crib is now not a good idea. He's learned to pull up on the side of it so now I'm going to have to figure how to lower it lol. He is so rotten and always figuring how to do what he's not suppose to do.He is going to be a handful I just know it. But a cute one lol.

MOTHER'S DAY & 7 MONTHS

Today is my first mother's day and MJ also turned 7Months. It's been an exciting day! My brother came with his long time girl friend and we ate Chinese. It was low key but still fun :) It's hard to believe my baby is 7months old.The time is just slipping by.He'll be all grown up in no time.It goes by to fast.I try to cherish every moment we have together and keep track of all the things he does.For mother's day my Aunt J. got me the best gift hands down though. A photo book of my baby shower and of me and MJ after I had him. I cried when I saw some of the pictures :) It's been a wonderful 1st mother's day :)

First Swim!!!

We blew up our Hippo pool and went swimming today!!! MJ loves too swim and had a blast:)He's sitting up so well by himself now.My little boys growing up so fast.I got the Hippo pool from wal mart and its nice since the Hippo shades him from the sun.I love my little swimmer boy:)

My Cousin & Me

Mj had a great time at his cousin Grapeseed's dedication sunday.Ok he slept through the main part lol but he had fun:).They are so cute together although I thought he was gonna pull her ribbon off he has a bad habit of that. It was great to be with the family and see our cousins :).
